This grouping is done to allow for a perfect teacher pupil ratio. It also allows our vastly qualified, experienced and well-trained teachers to give every child personalized attention as may be required or needed.

Thus, our Basic School offers the following services, amongst others:

  • Boarding Facilities: The Boarding School component caters for your need if you don’t have high quality school in your environment. Or you don’t have someone to assist in taking care of your kids when they are back from school. To assist them in their home works and assignments. And to complement your efforts in mentoring your children. Our supportive and highly committed staff address these challenges. They are available 24/7 to meet the needs of your children.
    Being at a home away from home, it gives us joy and the opportunity of inculcating the spirit of maturity and independence on your children early in life.

  • ICT (Computer Training): Computer Education is introduced to your children early in life. The ICT unit boasts of modern facilities which includes the ICT laboratory. Your children start early on the path of ICT. They have the tools needed to be competitive in this technological age. They are introduced to Computer Based Test (CBT) at this level. Your children have the opportunity to write their Continuous Assessment Tests using the CBT model. In addition to giving them proficiency in MS Word, and Excell packages.
  • Entrepreneurship Skills: We start inculcating in your children a sense of self-reliance at the Basic Education Level. At this stage, they are taught knitting and beads making.
  • Extracurricular Activities: To give your children a well-rounded education, sports and other extracurricular activities are fully integrated to the academic curricular at the Basic School stage. These activities are used to build basic life skills in your children. Such as public speaking and team work, amongst others.
    Because we use extracurricular activities to develop the total man, it is compulsory for your child to be a member of at least one clubs and societies.

  • Montessori Education: We use the Montessori Education model to teach your children at the Preschool (Nursey) and Basic School levels. This enhances your children’s writing and speaking ability. The objective is to ensure that any child that is brought into Jofegan International Pre and Basic schools have the capacity to read and write within the first 60 days.
